It was an honor and pleasure to complete the Roux Institute at Northeastern University Venture Forward Kennebunk chapter! A special thanks to our classmates from some amazing local businesses that we look forward to keep in touch with, as well as to the Town of Kennebunk, Maine for providing LOKC the opportunity to participate in such a meaningful experience.
The Venture Forward Kennebunk, was an innovative program dedicated to supporting small businesses through collaboration and strategic growth. The approach was to create a “community-centered business growth program designed to help local entrepreneurs strengthen, scale, and sustain their businesses.” The eight-week curriculum was designed for participants to work through a practical, innovation-focused curriculum tailored to the needs of small business owners in their town.
To conclude the program, LOKC attorneys J.R. Fallon and Rai Dominguez presented on “The Pitfalls of Waiting to Create Your Estate Plan”—there is no time like the present to knock out a will, power of attorney, and medical directive—then forget about it and go live a healthy and happy life!
