Libby O’Brien Kingsley & Champion Retained by Franklin County

We are pleased to announce that on May 20, 2025, Libby O’Brien Kinglsey & Champion was selected by the Franklin County Commissioners to serve as counsel for the Commissioners.  Gene Libby will serve as lead counsel, with Tyler Smith and J.R. Fallon forming the legal team supporting Franklin County’s Commissioners. Michael Saucier and Sean Rogers will provide their expertise from time to time as well.

Earlier this year, Gene Libby and J.R. Fallon attended the annual meeting of the Maine County Commissioners’ Association, where Libby presented a comprehensive review of statutory and case law related to county operations.

Libby O’Brien Kingsley & Champion has as extensive background in county law as counsel to York County on various legal matters including land use issues, union negotiations, civil lawsuits, statutory compliance and a variety of other legal matters.
