Gene R. Libby, a founding partner of Libby O’Brien Kingsley & Champion, LLC, has been selected again for inclusion in the most recent edition of The Best Lawyers in America®. Gene was selected to appear in the 24th edition of Best Lawyers (2018) for the practice areas of family law and white collar criminal defense.
Inclusion in Best Lawyers, which has been published annually since 1983, is based on a rigorous peer review survey comprised of confidential evaluations by other attorneys. The compilation is based on the fact that the “best lawyers” know who the best lawyers are among their peers. Gene has also been recognized by his peers in New England SuperLawyers. In 2010, he was named by the American Association for Justice (then called the American Trial Lawyers Association) as one of the top 100 Maine trial lawyers.
