Sean C. Rogers focuses his practice on family law and has experience with Divorce, Parental Rights & Responsibilities matters and Protection from Abuse cases. His calm, pragmatic approach, combined with a strong analytical mindset makes him especially effective in high-asset and financially complex divorce cases.
In addition to family law, Sean maintains a broader legal practice with a growing focus on both corporate and criminal law. In his corporate work, Sean advises individuals and businesses on matters including business formation, risk management, contracts, and internal governance.
In his criminal law practice, Sean represents clients in both misdemeanor and felony cases. He is committed to protecting his clients’ rights and providing thoughtful, strategic defense at every stage of the process, from investigation through trial or resolution.
Sean is also experienced in appellate advocacy and constitutional law, and he maintains an active interest in legal issues involving civil liberties and judicial processes.
Sean’s thorough approach, calm demeanor, and courtroom experience make him a valuable advocate for individuals no matter what their area of need.
A Maine native, Sean earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Maine School of Law in 2019. Prior to law school he attended the University of New England in Biddeford, Maine, where he played club hockey. Sean graduated in three years with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in philosophy. Sean is a proud alumnus of Bridgton Academy (Class of 2013).
Before joining the firm, Sean practiced family law in Central Maine, representing clients across a wide range of domestic relations matters. He is a former Chair of the Family Law Section of the Maine State Bar Association.
Outside the office, Sean enjoys playing hockey and golf, writing, and spending time with his family.
