Hillary received her law degree from Boston College Law School (magna cum laude) and her undergraduate degree in Biology from Tufts University (cum laude).  After graduating from law school, Hillary had the tremendous privilege of serving as law clerk to two judges in Massachusetts: Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall in the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court and Judge William G. Young in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.  Those one-year positions entailed, among other duties, making recommendations to the judges about the resolution of cases and drafting opinions for them.

Prior to law school, Hillary worked for several public service organizations.  She served in the U.S. Peace Corps for over two years in Zambia, Africa, and also was a member of the U.S. Army Reserve for twelve years.  Hillary was deployed to Kuwait in 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Hillary focuses on litigation, with a particular interest in appellate matters.  As a result of working for two judges, Hillary is at ease in the courtroom, and knowledgeable about a broad variety of legal issues.

Hillary lives in Kennebunk, Maine with her husband, Dale, and their two young children. She is involved in several charitable organizations including the Kennebunk Rotary Club and the Education Foundation of the Kennebunks and Arundel.  Hillary’s many interests include hiking, golfing, biking, and skiing.
